this piece aims to honor one of the island's most iconic animals, humuhumunukunukupaua'a. made from a thrifted zip up hoodie, plus denim scraps from thrifted jeans!

this collection is inspired by the flora and fauna of the big island of hawai’i, and I hope that its creation will have a positive effect for the 'āina as well. by only using recycled secondhand materials to make these 1 of 1 pieces, we are diverting waste from the landfills and microplastics from the ocean!! I hope the monk seals, the humus, the mantas, and the rest of our holoholona would be proud :)
